Frequently asked questions
Where does the data come from?
We use Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX), Google’s official aggregate data from real Chrome users. Lab tests use Lighthouse in a controlled environment.
How often is the data updated?
CrUX data is updated monthly. For an immediate synthetic measurement, you can run a lab test.
What if my page has no CrUX data?
If the page has an insufficient CrUX sample, you can still use lab tests and check whether origin-level data is available.
